MULTIPROBIOTIC EFFECT ON DUODENAL EPITHELIOCYTES GLUTATHIONE SYSTEM UPON LONG-TERM GASTRIC HYPOCHLORHYDRIA
Abstract
Differently directed changes in activity of glutathione system enzymes and decreased content of reduced glutathione in duodenal epitheliocytes upon long-term gastric hypoacidity was established, thus indicating violation of cellular oxidative-antioxidative balance. The administration of multiprobiotic «Symbiter» to the rats with long-term gastric hypochlorhydria was associated with the normalization of investigated parameters in duodenal villus and crypt epithelial cells.
