Validation of the Developed Photometric Technique for the Analysis of Pregabalin

Abstract


A validation assessment of the method for the quantitative determination of pregabalin, previously developed at the departments of toxicological and pharmaceutical chemistry of the Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy, was carried out. The method is based on the reaction of obtaining an ionic associate of pregabalin with an acid dye — bromothymol blue. Based on the results of the study, it was established that the technique is distinguished by specificity, accuracy, linearity and precision under repeatability conditions.
